ABOUT US
Malibu Methodist Nursery School is a non-profit, non-sectarian community outreach of the Malibu United Methodist Church. A board of directors compromised of parents, educators and MUMC leadership determines school policies.
Staff includes the director, an assistant director/teacher, an office manager and a handyman (both shared with the church), full and part-time teachers and teaching assistants. All teachers and assistants are certified annually in infant and child CPR and first aid, and are encouraged to take yearly courses in early childhood education at local universities and attend professional symposiums.
We sometimes have parents and community service volunteers from Malibu High School, Santa Monica High School, Santa Monica College and Pepperdine University who assist the children under the supervision of their schools as well as our staff.
